BAYFOOD TRAVELS: Vinoteca (Washington D.C.) - Since I was staying with my cousin during my summer in D.C., we would go to some of her social outings with her. One of which was a going away party or her friend. They decided to have everyone get together at this really lovely bar/bistro called Vinoteca. Inside it has that modern and sophisticated ambience, but since we were a larger party, it was held outside in their outside lounge area which I really liked! It was made me think of a quaint, quiet courtyard in Italy with the rustic walls and furniture. It was also a nice escape from busy D.C. (especially with the heat). There were TVs available to enjoy soccer by the bar, and off to the side you could play bocce ball.
Unfortunately I can’t find the actual catering menu, but there was a great variety of food from burger sliders, hummus, falafel, and an eggplant dish. The waiters were pretty good with being consistent in bringing the dishes out and responding to any requests the large party had.
