location: Tong Dumpling Pot (Cupertino, CA) I always remembered the noodles this place makes for their 炸醬麵 (zha jiang mian) and how “Q” (chewy, elastic) they were, so I wanted to come back and try them again. So, my family came here for lunch after church. The noodles were still pretty chewy, but the overall dish wasn’t as tasty as it used to be. As an appetizer, we got some pork ear. This...

TT EAT: Chicken and Artichoke Sandwich from Cafe...
This was honestly one of the best paninis that i’ve ever had. Everything that I like in a good sandwich. Oh Cafe La Tartine, you’ve just become a new favorite.  (via tthungry)

Taqueria El Buen Sabor
tacomyhead: Taqueria El Buen Sabor 699 Valencia Street, San Francisco, CA 94110 (the Mission) Date visited: 15 November 2010 (post by R.) This is the first stop on our taqueria tour and, therefore, the first to be reviewed! I’ll state this upfront, this review has to be considered crap ‘cause I have no real reference point with which to compare. Remember, my history of burritos and tacos...

location: Korea Tofu House (Cupertino, CA) After watching Tangled (which I loved!), my family and I went to Cupertino Village for dinner, as there were bound to be places open there on Christmas day. Sure enough, many open restaurants were available and we chose this place, perhaps because it was one of the first ones we saw.  I felt like I had eaten so much Korean food recently, I wasn’t...

zombiesinmygarden asked: I just found this blog and I love it already!
Anyway, here is my question:
So I'm going to culinary arts school Pennsylvania, and before we graduate we go on an externship, and I was hoping to go to San Francisco for mine. That being said, I have never been to San Francisco, therefore I know naught of the cuisine there. Do you know of any ‘high class’ restaurants...
